DRINKING OUTWARDS

Every civilisation produces an outside for another world to remain maintained inside. Yet what is discarded never disappears. It returns through the atmosphere, turbulence, materials, and the ways of thinking we live with. Drinking Outwards brings together paintings, sculptures, performances, and residues that investigate these unstable movements. Moving through sewers, dump sites, contaminated landscapes, and discarded materials, the works ask how societies recognize and determine what belongs, what circulates, what remains visible, and what makes our relations possible. The exhibition proposes a world where what was once kept outside no longer remains there, but returns through the continuous circulation of bodies, materials, and politics.
